Andre started his career working for the stock brokerage Davis Borkum Hare (now Merrill Lynch). Since then he has worked at various portfolio management companies, including Finexco International, an offshore investment specialist. He was a founder of Bird Private Client Wealthcare in 2009, which integrated with Private Client Portfolios in 2017.
Jacques Brown CFP
Jacques was born and bred in the Cape Winelands, and after qualifying as a tax consultant and completing his articles, his travels led him on a divergent path, spending the next decade in the hospitality industry where he was involved in the opening and managing of new hotels and lodges. He re-entered the financial services industry as advisor with large corporate banks and wealth manager for a retirement fund corporation before moving to PCH, and now lives in Somerset West.
Warren Buys CFA
Warren has built up extensive experience in the investment industry over the last 21 years working as a quantitative analyst, equity analyst, and portfolio manager with the larger asset managers. His passion for working with people and financial markets has culminated in his role as wealth manager for PCH Wealth Management. Warren obtained a BCom in economics and business management and an MSc in financial management.
Andrew is a welcomed asset to the PCH Wealth Management team. He has a wealth of experience in nurturing his clients’ financial wellbeing, gained from a quarter of a century spent in financial services within the banking sector. Andrew is a successful sports business owner.
He holds a National Certificate in Financial Wealth Management.
Tyrone Coetzee CFP
Tyrone joined the PCH Wealth Management team in 2013. Originally from Durban, he moved to Cape Town to further his career in wealth management and to enjoy the beauty of the Cape, resonating his belief in a solid work–life balance. Tyrone has had experience in the Independent Advisory field, coupled with a BSC degree and a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning from the University of Stellenbosch.
Luke Hirst CFP
Luke was born in the UK, and after being schooled in Yorkshire, he went on to read a BSc (Honours) in Medical Microbiology. His interest in Wealth Management led him into the financial sector in London, predominantly in relationship building within the fund management industry. Luke has successfully established and run his own businesses in South Africa and thrives on using his extensive experience to assist his clients in meeting their wealth goals.
Gareth has been a key member of the PCH Wealth Management team for the past 18 years. His primary focus lies in financial planning and asset management for high net worth individuals, including families, business owners and retirees. Gareth provides sound advice and excellent customer service through in-depth analysis and client value management.
Bryan Leach CFP
Bryan has been with Private Client Holdings since 2009 and focuses on a truly committed relationship with his clients. His years of experience within the industry that span both smaller brokerages and larger corporate organisations have made him well equipped to holistically focus on managing his clients’ wealth. Bryan holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Investment and Financial Management.

An economist by profession, Mark believes that the most important attributes of the modern financial planning professional are impartiality, transparency and a commitment to service excellence. Although he regards a strong academic background as essential to rendering a quality wealth management service, Mark believes first and foremost that the most valuable commodity in the wealth management industry is trust, built over time. Mark was awarded the FINANCIAL PLANNING INSTITUTE's™ Financial Planner of the Year 2017.
